FOR ONE 60 MINUTE COUNSELLING SESSION

Payment can be made via cash, or e-transfer. If you are using private health insurance, a receipt will be provided that you can submit to your provider.

♡ Please note I do offer a few sliding scale slots for those who are unable to pay the full rate. Please email me to discuss my sliding scale rates.

INSURANCE

If you are interested in using private health insurance (e.g., Blue Cross, Manulife etc.), please confirm that Registered Clinical Counsellors are covered under your plan prior to your first appointment. Please note that I do not take insurance directly; you must first pay for your services and then be reimbursed.

I am a First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) provider and can provide counselling for Indigenous peoples in BC. Please contact me for more details. Pre-approval through FNHA is required.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you need to cancel your upcoming appointment, please give 24-hours notice.

COST TRANSPARENCY

For each 1 hour session I block off 1.5 hours to allow time for prep, note taking, client specific research and follow up.

Around 45% of a session rate goes to maintaining a sustainable practice. Operational expenses include registration dues, rental space, booking software, website, accounting, insurance, personal taxes and so forth, as well as professional development includes additional trainings and supervision sessions.
